Supplementary terms for the document and electronic signature service, operated by Badan Perizinan Indonesia. These apply alongside the Resmi.ID Terms of Service.

1. Scope
This page governs your use of docs.resmi.id — creating documents, collecting electronic signatures, affixing e-Meterai, and issuing verifiable final documents. Terms covering accounts, billing and other general matters follow the Resmi.ID Terms of Service.
2. Legal standing of electronic signatures
Electronic signatures are recognised as valid legal evidence in Indonesia under the ITE Law, Articles 5 & 11, and Government Regulation 71/2019. Signatures produced by this service are non-certified. Documents requiring a certificate from a Kominfo-registered certification provider (PSrE) need an additional integration that is not yet active here. It is your responsibility to judge whether this level is sufficient for your documents.
3. Responsibility for document content
The content of your documents is entirely your responsibility. We do not review, edit, assess the validity of, or give legal advice on the documents you send. You warrant that you have the right to upload and circulate them.
4. Signers without an account
Signers you invite do not need a Resmi.ID account. They reach the document through a time-limited link and confirm their identity with a one-time code. You are responsible for entering the correct email address or phone number, because that link grants access to the document's contents.
5. e-Meterai
e-Meterai is affixed through an official provider and is subject to that provider's terms and to applicable tax regulations. e-Meterai quota already used is non-refundable. Failures caused by an outage at the provider are outside our control.
6. Public verification
Every final document issues a verification code and QR that anyone can check without an account. By issuing a document you understand that its existence and status can be confirmed by whoever holds the code. How much detail is shown follows the visibility setting you choose.
7. Prohibited use
You must not use this service to forge another person's identity or signature, circulate unlawful documents, or send unsolicited signing invitations in bulk. Other general prohibitions follow the Resmi.ID Terms of Service.
8. Quotas and plans
Free and paid plans and their document quotas are described in the dashboard. Usage beyond a plan's quota is charged per document at the rate in effect at the time. Payment, billing and refund terms follow the Resmi.ID Terms of Service.
9. Termination
Signed documents and their audit trails are retained even after your account is closed or a subscription ends — see the retention section of the docs.resmi.id privacy page for why.
